Booking Instructions
- Step 1 – Before you contact us please follow the one of the links on this page to our availability page and ensure the date you want is available .
- Step 2 – Download the booking form here – Candleston Booking form 2012 .
- Step 3 – Email us the completed booking form to Mark Roberts
- Step 4 – Send us your deposit. (Payment methods are below)
Hire Costs
Our normal hire is from Friday 1pm to Sunday 4pm and costs are as follows
March, April, October & November - £800
May, June & September - £1400
*August - £2700*
*July is £1400 for the first three weeks and £2700 for the last week.*
*Please note that the school summer holidays the hire is from Monday 10am to Sunday 4pm*
Adding extra hire – Extending your stay
Each additional 24 hours or part thereof is an extra £100. For example if you wanted to extend your stay to start on a Wednesday that would be an extra £200.
Please contact us if you wish to stay on the Sunday night to discuss pricing.
Booking Policy 2012
Your booking gives you exclusive use of the site from 1pm Friday until 4pm on Sunday.
You will need to ring Mike Penny at least 24 hours before you are due to arrive to arrange for the gates to be unlocked and to allow the caretaker to be there to meet you or to open up the building ready for your use.

Please remember to do this before you arrive at site, as there is no mobile signal on site.
To confirm your booking we require a 50% deposit plus a £100 cleaning deposit (See below) at the time of booking.
We require the balance to be paid in full at least twelve weeks prior to the date of your arrival. If we do not receive this payment we will send you a reminder to pay within 7 days. If you still have not paid then the booking will be forfeit and the deposit money lost.

To make your payment, you have 3 options:-

Example P Wright 25/07/11, the date indicates the starting date of the hire you wish to pay for, in this example 25th July 2011
Option 3 - Direct Bank Transfer
You may pay by direct bank transfer to Otherways - Barclays Bank > Sort Code 20-84-58 > Account No. 53001059, if you do this, please use the reference as shown in the following example.

Deposits
There is also an additional £100 cleaning deposit required, which will be returned if the site is left at least as clean as it was found. You will also be required to dispose of your waste in the appropriate manner.

The cleaning deposit can be moved to any future bookings if required, assuming the site was left in a satisfactory state. Please note that you do need to bring toilet roll, dustbin bags and cleaning products with you.
Large Groups

Site Hire costs are for groups of up to 100 people.

Included in the Hire
2012
Hire of the site also includes full use of the catering kitchen and generator, but you will be required to provide your own diesel and diesel engine oil. We will fill up the generator with oil before you arrive, but if used constantly, the generator will require additional oil that you will need to provide. The lights in the main building which cover the main room kitchen washrooms showers and toilets all are powered by the generator, as are all the kitchen appliances.

Animals
No animals of any kind are allowed on site.
Payment Refunds
All payments are non refundable unless the site is closed down. This will only happen due to extraordinary circumstances.
